The department's laboratories are equipped for a variety of work in electrical engineering and electronics which includes such topics as tele-communications, power measurements, computation and servomechanisms. Research work is carried out by the staff into the ultrasonic investigation of atomic structure and into communications systems. The department conducts post graduate courses for naval personnel in control, computation and electronics.
